96 blazer won't start if gas tank is more than half full

i was wondering if it is my fuel pump but want to make sure before i drop the gas tank

How do you get it to start?

Have you check the fuel pressure?

No i have not checked the pressure. how do you do that. i bought the blazer from my cousin and he told me it wouldn't start with over half a tank never tried it though

As soon as I get to half a tank of gas my vechile will stall when I am stopping/stopped.
