Default 96 s10-no fuel pressure

Working on a 96 S10 Blazer, it had low erratic fuel pressure so I replaced the fuel pump.On initial start-up,pressure came up to 62-63 psi it fired up and ran for aprox. 10 seconds and died.I turned ignition off and retried numerous times and could never get any pressure on the gauge.Pump and relay seem to be functioning correctly but I can get 0 pressure. ANY IDEAS?

sounds like there is a problem with the spider injection or fuel pressure regulator. either way you gotta pull the upper intake and see if its washed out.

i just had an issue with losing pressure turned out to be my regulator...but I have a 95 dont know if its any different. But just take a look mine was really obvious, fuel dripping right from the regulator.

On your CSFI system, if you can hear the pump run for 2 to 3 seconds when the ignition is initially turned to RUN, and there's no pressure at the service port, you need to check the pump pressure by connecting the pressure tester to the fuel line from the pump, at the fuel filter. Should be 78psi to 108psi and hold pressure above 55psi for 10 minutes after the pump shuts off.
