I just bought a 1996 Blazer LT awd ,4.3 vortek , 4-speed column shift, when you first start it , it runs well then after 8 miles of driving you give it gas & nothing. So if you put it in park turn ignition off & re-start it,put in gear runs good again.Fuel pump pressures up,changed fuel filter ,alot of pressure there & at the fuel rail also, check engine light does not come on & autozone came up with no trouble codes. Can anyone help me with this matter?

sounds like you have a problem with the air getting to the engine. Have you cleaned/replaced your air filter yet?

Edit: have you checked the coolant level? Or maybe it could be your water pump?
