Question 97 blazer...Blowing number 4 fuse.

My number 4 gauges fuse blew last night resulting in my spedometer and volts gauge to stop working. It also stoped charging and slowly killed my battery. The busser for my headlights also stayed on unlless i turned my dash lights off? I replaced the fuse this morning before schoo and it blew again on my way there. I don't know where to start??? Any help would be great, thanks.

Fuse #4 powers:
  • A/C Compressor Relay
  • Daytime Running Lamp Control Module
  • Daytime Running Lamp Relay
  • Four Wheel Drive Indicator Switch
  • Front Axle Switch
  • Fuel Level Buffer Module
  • Inflatable Restraint Diagnostic Energy Reserve Module
  • Instrument Cluster
  • Interior Lamps Control Module
  • Rear Window Defogger Switch
  • Remote Control Door Lock Receiver
  • Seat Belts and Ignition Key and Lamps Alarm
  • Transfer Case Selector Switch
  • Transfer Case Shift Control Module

Now, for places to check. If you have access to a DMM, set it at its highest amperage setting and bridge the gap where the fuse goes. See what the draw is (likely higher than 10A since it is blowing the fuse). Then start unplugging items listed above to see which item(s) have the largest affect on the draw.
