97 blazer fuel problem

i went an search online for a 97 blazer two door tank. it's way different then a 4 door. i could not find a vent valve on it from the pics i saw. but there's has to be some kind of vent on it. my advice go a dealer see if they got one in stock for a hands on inspection. the vent valve may be your issue but if your blazer is dying quickly that might a different issue do you have to wait a while before it start's up again. that's a major sign of a venting problem. keep on posting on this form. if i can't help you somebody will.
good luck joe c

Mine will usually die soon after it warms up. It does take a long time before it will start and run again. I replaced the fuel pump this winter and didn't see a vent when I had the tank out. Taking the gas cap off doesn't seem to help. It started again but died about a minute later.
