Fuel problem, start problem
Hey I'm having a problem with my 2002 chevy blazer LS 4wd starting up. I have replaced my fuel pump at 124, k miles and it worked great until I hit 125, k miles. I was driving one day, and the car completely shut off. Then after a few mins I tryed to turn it on again and it did come on. Also after hit 125,k miles I did replace my fuel filter( black gunk came out of the old one. Now my blazer wont start at all it will only turn over.. I checked my fuel pressure gauge with my finger and fuel came out so I have quite a bit of pressure. What could be the issue? If anybody could help me. It would be much appreciated. Thanks

Fingers are not real accurate for checking fuel pressure Really need to check fuel pressure and leakdown using a fuel pressure tester. Every 2nd gen S/T owner should have one in their tool box. Some auto parts stores loan them for free, or you can buy one for around $40. Let us know when you have one available and we can help you test it, (simple procedure and only takes about 20 minutes). After we know the pressures, we can analyze the results.
