Default 97 blazer hard start cold, temp seems to matter

Hey guys,
I drive a 97 blazer 4dr 4x4 and it's been having a hard time starting lately. Temperature seems to matter, it starts better on warmer days (not that any day is really that warm right now). It starts just fine when it's been running recently. Fact that I think is probably important: this all started when it hadn't ran for a day and sat through a snowstorm. I cranked it and it took some time and felt like the starter was starting to run but not quite and then it finally started. Now it's taking a while and then feels like the starters hooking once or twice but not quite getting it done until it comes to life. I know the more info the better, any ideas?

The starter is not cranking the engine over consistently? Or the starter cranks but the engine will not run?

its cranking but it feels like it won't turn over consistently, once it's started the engine runs good as ever it just takes 5-10 seconds of taking the starter with it almost turning over a few times before it gets it

And the colder it gets the longer it has to crank, more tries it takes before it starts?

Yes that's about right, just replaced battery, didn't seem to change things

best I can tell (without being able to check pressure) is that the pump is struggling to get enough fuel to the engine when powered by the battery but has no problem after the engine is running, weird happening last night is that my blinkers dissappeared but came back, can this somehow be related?
