97 blazer ls problems
It's been awhile since I've been on here but I'm @ the point where I'm getting frustrated and I know I can find the help here. Anyway, here's a few of my issues:
1. I'm having issues with the rear axle. I picked up one of my baseball players and had to go up a steep incline to get to his house. While driving to the field I noticed a loud clanging coming from the rear of the truck while accelerating. My dad took a look @ it and said it looks like the rear differential is shot.
2. My ignition is stuck and the key won't turn. I've tried shaking the steering wheel while trying to turn the key and spraying wd-40 in the cylinder. No luck.
3. The fuse for my gauges keeps blowing out. It's supposed to be a 10 amp fuse but I temporarily swapped a 20 amp. I'm guessing it's a short but how can I confirm and find out if its a wire or something else?
The truck is in decent shape but I'm seriously considering getting rid of it. Is it worth getting the work done or would i be better off junking it or selling for parts? Any thoughts?
Sorry for the long post!
