Default 97 Blazer won't start

I have a 4.3, Vortek, 97 Blazer (CPI). When I try to start it, it cranks but doesn't seem to get gaz and won't start. I first changed the fuel pump (have an access door in the floor made a long time ago). Won't start. Checked fuel pump relay by swapping with the horn one (which worked), no change. I get power (10 volts) at the pump when cranking. If I turn the key ON without starting it, I don't get power at the pump at all and the fuel gauge in the dash goes way past the Full mark. Battery has 12 volt to it.
Is my problem electrical ?

I would first make sure you are getting spark to the distributor from the coil. Then if you do, and it still doesn't start, take starting fluid and spray into the intake and crank the motor over. If it starts for a second, it's a fuel problem. If it doesn't start still, then it's a spark problem. Try this and let me know what happens.

Default blazer 97 starting problems

OK. I will try it out. Just finished putting in a new fuel filter (was long overdue anyway). I'll try this distributor-coil spark test . As far as the intake test, not sure what you mean by intake and where it is but will try and find out. Will post results.

Take out your air temp sensor in your airbox neck, and spray carb cleaner..brake cleaner..etc. into the hole. that will go into the intake and it should start if it is a fuel problem. otherwise start looking for spark issues

I get a spark between the coil and the distributor. Took the coil out to test it, after 197,000 miles never know. Checked the Haynes shop manual and coil is nothing like it says.

I put a little gaz in the intake, tried to start it and didn't work. Wouldn't it smell like gaz every time I try to start it , cause it doesn't. Now what should I do, drive it off a cliff somewhere ?

Alright, your looking at a spark problem. Its either your distributor cap or rotor. I recommend changing both. Buy ac/delco onlyyyyyyy. That should fix the problem.

None of the above. Distributor and rotor were fine. Turned out to be a loose terminal pole on the little black multi wire connector in which the key switch goes into . Took a mechanic 1/2 hour to find it. I wasn't getting any lights in the dash when the switch was ON. New pump bought from Parts4america through Ebay never worked. I had bought it 2 years ago and had been in the box since then. What those people. Cheap stuff. Never had a receipt from them therefore can't get my money back. Put the old pump back in. Pressure was 55psi at idle and went up as you gave a little gaz.
Mechanic says pressure regulator is in the engine and unaccessible so how does one can change it without major job ?
Thanks for your input and help.
