97 Ignition wont turn. Help!
I got to work yesterday and turned off my blazer. I felt some residual vibrations after I shut it off so thinking that I should make sure it would start later, I turned it back on for roughly 20 seconds to make sure everything was all fine.
When I went to leave work, my ignition wouldnt turn at all. It wouldnt move forward or backward. My steering wheel is now locked in the straight position and my wheels are perfectly straight. My shifter also wont move.
I've read though some other tips on how to get it unstuck and what Ive tried so far is turning/jerking the wheel and turning the key at the same time, putting some WD-40 in it, tapping on lightly with a hammer and slamming the key into it. I have even used pliers to try to get a bit more leverage to try and turn it.
Can anyone think of something I havent yet tried? This is getting almost ridiculous and I can't find anything else that would get it fixed.

Your key is probably worn.
Try wiggling the key in and out slightly near full insertion while trying to lightly turn it. Like, apply rotational pressure as it's getting to the last tooth. I've spent over a minute dicking with chevy ignitions like this before it turned.
Take your VIN # and proof of ownership to a dealer and have them cut a new key for your vin.
