That's the first half of the test. It basically tells us the fuel pump is building at least 62psi, and it holds, but that's all it tells us. Without the results from the second half, we can not correctly diagnose the fuel delivery system. The second half of the test is explained in the link in post #2.

In post #8, your testing method to see if the injectors squirt fuel would be fine, only IF you were actually trying to start the engine. Just turning the ignition to the "RUN" position without engaging the starter, the injectors should not squirt fuel. SO, try your method again while cranking, and make sure all injectors squirt fuel. Both steel fuel lines must be connected to the fuel metering block while doing this test.

Disconnect the coil wire from the distributor cap. Slide the boot back a bit to expose the terminal. Prop the wire up so there is a half inch gap to ground. Attempt to start the engine. The spark must jump the gap with a bright blue spark, not orange.

Carnac, I love it .

You've got fuel pressure, the injectors are squirting fuel, and you have good spark from the ignition coil. There are a couple of possibilities: #1. Spark plug wires open, or shorting to ground, and #2. I wouldn't trust the AZ cap & rotor. There are several posts here on the forum, with symptoms exactly like you described, that were cured with an AC Delco cap & rotor. See if they will let you pay the difference to upgrade.
