Looking for a way to scan and datalog my 98 Blazer pcm.

I have freescan and cable for my 97 Camaro SS but it will not do the Blazer's 4.3l.

 

Well I just ordered it, we will see how well it works when it gets here in a week. I will post my results.

Did it come in? How did it work? I heard it works better with better software.

 

works awesome, i agree, does need better software, i found scanxl software works great, can pull abs,pcm codes..... no regrets buying it!

Just got mine in.

Does not work on my 98 blazer.

Works on my wife's 05 Caddy.

What settings did you use(baud rate)?

 

use automatic. Works perfectly fine on my 98 blazer

 

I did use automatic and it said no device found.

I think either the PCM is bad or the wires to it. Will start with wires.
