98 blazer battery problem

Just to add on to this thread, my 2002 LS was having startproblems periodically. I pulled thebattery connectors off and cleaned the contact areas but upon further inspectionof the positive, I noticed a portion of the red plastic insulating cover wasgetting in between the battery and cable contact surfaces. After carving away some of that plastic I gota solid connection and a fast start.
