Draining on New Battery..didn't happen with the old battery

Draining on New Battery..didn't happen with the old battery
My husband put in a new battery, Now something is draining the new batter, never had this problem before with the old battery until I replaced the new battery. What can be the problem? Could it be the alarm system after replacing the old battery with a new battery? Please help
