98 blazer climate control help

Default 98 blazer climate control help

just changed out my climate control on my 98 blazer,nothing was working before except my compressor was on, now that the control panel is replaced everthing is working except my compressor is not coming on any advice checked all fuses they are good numbers are around the temp

You didn't happen to blow a fuse in the swap did you?

Do you have automatic temperature control (#'s around the temperature control ****) or manual (just red & blue around the temperature control ****)?

checked all fuses, they are good, there are numbers around the temp

And you've tried hitting the a/c button with the mode selection appropriate for the A/C to operate (either bi-level, vent, or defrost)?

selected a.c. it lights up but compressor want kick in

Can I assume that it is hot enough for the compressor to kick on and that the temperature **** is on it's coldest setting? Was the replacement HVAC control head new?

Could be a problem with the interior and/or exterior temperature sensor... A scan tool would help in diagnosis.

May not determine anything but let's establish something:
Remove cycling sw connector from accum and, with ac selected, ground each pin and see if clutch engages.
If it does, jump the pins and see what happens
