98 Blazer LT a/c not working

Default 98 Blazer LT a/c not working

i have a 98 lt balzer and my a/c quit working last summer and i cant figure out why it stopped... i recharged the system and its full and holds the freon but all i get out of it is hot air all the time... it is an auto climate and i replaced the part that has all the controls on it and still got the same issue, aso if anyone can shed some light on this i would love the help

these systems are computer controlled.. disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds and then hooked it back up. this resets the body control module. then start the truck and turn the a/c on. it should relearn and start working again. it may take up to a 1min to relearn... i assume that the system is charged with freon?! hope this cures the problem.good luck and keep it shiny side up.

i have tried the unhook the battery thing and got nothing and it is charged up i check it at the start of every summer and it was also charged when it quit, so im a little lost now on what to do

When you have the A/C on, does the compressor turn on? If yes, does the accumulator/receiver get cold?

If yes to these and your problem persists it could be your Temperature Door Actuator. Refer to this for info:
