'98 Blazer Timing chain replacement

As always thank you for your quick replies.
I managed to remove everything and am in the process of installing the new Crankshaft sprocket.
Any tips on the installation? I am afraid of trying to press the new one with the bolt and Socket (or piece of short piece cut pipe) as recomended because I am afriad of damaging the threads insinde the Crankshaft.
Thank you

It is going on that tight?? I have done a few 4.3L timing chains (mostly for the tensioner tsb), and they did not go on all that tight that they could not be tapped on with a rubber mallet and a small piece of pipe.

Hello all,
With your help I have installed the new timing chain with gears and all.
Now, Can anyone help with any tips or ticks installing the timing chain cover.
I have loosened the front 2 bolts on the oil pan as the book stated, though I tried to loosen the pan as a whole but could not because of the drive axle. I am having a hard time geting the bottom lip (inner & outer) of the cover over the gasket that is in place. There is very little clearance between the the gasket and the engine for the back bottom lip of the cover to slide in between.
