These things are fussy about fuel. Do a leakdown test first. Then if thats ok I would be looking at your spark for a problem. Could also be cap and rotor. Use only ac delco or delphi parts also

Have you checked for spark? Take one of the spark plug wires off and either use a screwdriver or another spark plug check the color of the spark....must be blue, yellow is no good.

Also check the fuel pressure as stated above.

well i know its not fuel delivery cause it wont run with starting fluid and i checked all the plugs and wires and icm and coil and changed the distributor cap and still sounds like its not firing on all cylinders... also checked timing from distributor and tdc with number 1 on compression and it looked like it was dead on with the little 6 on the distributor... the security light does not stay on and no check engine light is on... it looks like the previous owner lost the overflow tanks cap and used duct tape to cover it and it didnt work so im beginning to think it might be a blown head gasket on the 1,3,6 side of the engine.... i have took the fuel pump relay out and tried starting fluid because at first it smelled like gas and i thought it was flooding when i tried to start it and thats when it started to sound like only a few cylinders were firing... pulled all the plugs and none are wet and there is a faint smell of gas on them... am i missing something or could it be a blown head gasket?

You have this only 2 weeks? Did it run when you bought it?

Ask the previous owner about hidden "kill switch". Or keyfob remote for alarm that is needed to start somehow?

Someone added circuitry to starting system where you need to press something like the window switch or brake pedal with key "ON" before it will start?

Fuel pump took a carp?

it didnt run when i bought it (thats why i only paid $500 for it) and the guy said it just died on his uncle goin down the road 1 day and he bought it from him and got his wifes car fixed so decided not to mess with the blazer and just sell it cause they didnt need an extra vehicle.... pretty sure tank has water in it so i dont have the pump hooked up and trying to get it to run for a minute on starting fluid...

Not running on starter fluid is a pretty clear sign that the ignition system is to blame. Do you have spark? Is it time correctly? What is the condition of the spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotor?
