I am also glad you were able to fix the problem. I wanted to add another common problem that can cause these same symptoms. The two caliper pins aka sliding pins will often stick due to corrosion, pitting, rust, 'no lube' and so on. Just cleaning them and lubricating them with a proper lube will often free up a 'sticking caliper'. If they are badly pitted, you can replace just the 2 pins and lube them. Check the cal. pins first to see if this is the problem and you could save money.
