Default 99 4.3 jerk or miss

99 blazer 4.3, Just put new intake gasket on,now while running down the road at steady speed,im getting a quick jerk or miss, very hard to pin piont.I did not have this problem prior to the gasket replacement which is leading me to believe its something I did or forgot--put in new rotor to aliminate that, also my tach doesnt work since the replacement,I checked the connection on the distributor, seems fine. Need somewhere to start lookin Thanks Ric

Check over all of your connections to the distributor. The tack is driven off of the CMP sensor signal.
