Well my blower fan has Been howling pretty loud lately. Also I had no fan on setting 2 and 3. Then all if a sudden the fan quit all together and my PRINDL went out. Strange. As I cycle the key the PRINDL will come on until just before the on spot and then goes out. No fan no matter what tho. So I change out the blower resistor. Everything back to normal. Ok so then I change out the blower too since it's noisy and I figure that's what killed the resistor. Drove it for 10 min and everything is gone again. Not only that I kept driving it for about an hour but I think my alternators not operating either as the truck died and the battery is dead. Anyone have any ideas? Was the resistor actually ok? Did I just luck out that everything started working again? Or would a dead resistor kill everything like that? Should I be looking towards the ignition switch instead?

update. changed the altenator since it wasn't charging and that fixed that issue. Now I checked for power coming to the blower resistor and there is no power there. Anyone know where the power comes from to the resistor?
