99 Chevy Blazer 4x4 auto PRND LED Display light will not work
I have a '99 chevy Blazer (s10) with a shop replaced REBUILT motor (4.3 ltr) & automatic transmission and the in dash light (column shift) for the transmission gears will not work when I received it from the shop. Other shops have checked the gauge cluster/instrument control panel and say it's OK. The also replaced the transmission PRND switch on the transmission (new) and added a rebuilt ECM (electronic contrl model/computer) and the light still does not work. It hards to tell what gear you are in. Is there a wiring diagram I can get to find the short in the wiring or the problem...??? (Note: The original shop replaced the transfer case as well & the new in-dash switch was replaced again) Thanks.

You have to pull the gauge cluster out, and replace the electronic diods (spelling). They burn out and you have to take a razor blade, pic them off, then use a soldering gun to melt the flux to attach the new diods.
