I got a 99 Blazer with 145,000 miles that I just bought. It has a lifter tick for the first 2 minutes of running when cold. Thats probably why it was warm when I looked at it. AND the oil pressure is 40 psi cold and 20 at idle when warm. Never seen oil pressure over 40 at any speed. No noise at all when warm??????? WHAT????????? Panic or not?

Not to worry. I asked bout the pressure on my 99 with the 4.3 and they said that the min psi at 1000rpm was like 6psi-25psi at 4000rpm. My 99 has the same pressure as yours but I don't here anything after 30secons or so.
