99 LT Spare Question
Sorry everyone tried finding this question but can not find any answers. Have a 99 blazer LT 4WD. When we bought the Blazer it did not have a spare tire, I am trying to figure if a full size rim and tire will fit under in the hoist. If so if someone knows the size of the rim that would be great help.
Thanks
Thanks
Thanks Christine, if you have a 235/70 which is a full size, means can get an full rim and mount a reg tire vs a donut tire. Son just got the Blazer loves think we found a good deal as only has 51K miles on it and is in good shape. But as stated missing spare and would prefer he have a full size tire vs a donut tire.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

yes Christine is correct. I have a 235 75 15 under my cable system on a 4 x 4 rim on my 99 bravada with the factory tow package. it's a barely squeeze but it pulls all the way up tight. my all-wheel drive demands exact tire size is all the way around. I think I was more surprised that my cable system still works LOL.

Wish ours still worked just ordered a new hoist cable system to install. Looked in junkyards but most were trashed decided not worth the hassle if will now lower when your stuck on the road changing a flat. So bought new.
Just to second that a full size wheel/tire will fit. Currently have a 255/70-15 under there, same size as all four. Does require angling the tire when cranking it up.
Only 51k miles!!!....that is a FIND!!...but does not exist without some pictures.....
