Default 99 S-10 Evaporator Replacement

New to the forum, and I have not been able to find a thread with the details I am looking for. So, to start, my blazer has been leaking refrigerant from the A/C system slowly for a while now. I had dye put in and the leak is originating from the compressor. I decided to put in a new one rather than mess around with a rebuild. Also, chose to replace the accumulator/dryer and orifice tube because they have never been changed and the truck has 230,000+ miles on it. While disassembling the system, I came to find out the evaporator needs to be replaced as well.

What I am looking for is an idea of the easiest way to remove it the evaporator. If anyone has a diagram with all the bolts that hold the housing together, that would be fantastic. Also, any advice on the simplest removal method would be greatly appreciated too.

Thanks,
Matt

This is my daughters Blazer...
See that box with the grey foam? The Evaporator Core is inside that box. Plan of removing the entire dashboard assy. as well as the underhood components

P.S. Change you heater core while your there!
