Default Abs/Brake fault light and fan blower won't work

Yesterday the abs and brake fault lights came on when I started our 96 blazer. I checked and therewas plenty of brake fluid, so I decided to drive it home. Brakes worked fine. No noises or mushy brake pedal. This morning I started it up and now the heater/fan blower won't work. I turn the switch on and there is nothing. The fault lights are still on.How are these 2 things related? Any and all help will be appreciated.

They may not be related.I think the abs light refers the the sensor on the brake caliper.Take the wheel off clean them with brake parts cleaner or replace them.As for the fan not blowing its a common problem check for voltage going to the motor if you have power replace the motor not very hard.

I'd say they aren't related at all. Chances just happened to be right that two things stopped working at the same time. Just because the ABS light is on doesn't mean that it's automatically the sensor on the wheel. A reluctor ring could have come off the hub, the sensor could be bad, the wiring could have a fault somewhere, there are a number of things. Best thing to do for it is take it to a shop that has a good scantool (not Advance or Autozone, they just have generic ones). A good Tech2 scantool will have the ability to read ABS codes. I've got my ABS Light on right now and the tool reads ABS wheel sensor right side failure. I believe the sensor is about $75 through the dealership and that's about the best price I've found it for.
