Tight steering wheel

Default Tight steering wheel

I just put in my billet steering wheel. It's a little harder to turn than factory. Is this because the diameter is smaller and I don't get as much leverage while turning?

Is it possible to tighten the steering bolt too tight? Would that make a difference?

Bolt was too tight. All set now.
