Default ABS and brake light can mean low tire

My ABS and brake light turned on yesterday. I drove home, everything else seemed normal. This morning I saw the right front tire was way low, like only 5 lbs left. Filled it up and the lights went off.

Some early "indirect TPMS" systems used the wheel speed sensor signals from the ABS to indicate when one tire was severely underinflated.

There are limitations, but when a tire is basically flat, it will usually show up as an ABS fault.
