abs break light question

Default abs break light question

I just joined. need some help with my daughters 2003 blazer. I just replaced all the break pads - it had and still has the abs/break light randomly coming on. I was told to replace the pads that not the problem. anyone have some ideas.

Have you tried resetting the computer? Worked in my Blazer. Although mine's quite a bit older than yours. could be a dirty sensor or something like that even. but i'd try resetting the computer first (assuming you can do that...i don't know anything about new blazers).

Disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes.

As far as your problem, it could be a broken front WSS (wheel speed sensor) wire or a dirty WSS in the front hub. Is the truck a 4wd?

yea its a 4wd 4 door - perfect for a college kid

hey man, i had the same prob.
if resetting it doesnt work
take off the wheel and look on the wheel hub for a small black box
there should be one or two screws on it
take it out and clean it off
mine had some grease on it
once i cleaned it the light never came on again

Whats up guys, I'm another new guy love my Blazer. Anyway I have a 99 ZR2 Blazer and I had that same problem. What it ended up being with mine was a bad speed sensor. It kept troughing on my abs light also. So I replaced that and it has not come back on yet.
