Ac blower not turning on sometimes
Thanks for the help. I took it to a local shop and the found at first the plug had only 8volts of power they wiggled and played with it and then it got 12v and my blower kicked on. They diagnose it as possibly a binding blower motor that damaged the module. Reccomending me changing the motor and module. I told them I plan on doing it my self so I don't think they are lying. Does this sound probable?
Very possible. However, the module changes the speed of the blower by increasing or decreasing the voltage to it via PWM. Might want to unplug the connector at the blower motor, and apply battery voltage and ground directly to the motor terminals. It should come on and operate at full speed. Checking amperage draw would tell if the motor is faulty, (drawing too much amperage could cause the module to fail).
