Default AC Compressor R&R

I'm in the process of replacing most of the AC system in my 2000 Blazer. The instructions tell me to add oil to the compressor both low and high side while turning the pump. What is not clears is how much oil to add. Any pointers or references?

Thanks,

Al

If u have a new compressor that should already have the proper amount of oil in it!

I'm not an expert, but from what I've read, this may or may not be true. Check out this post https://blazerforum.com/forum/tech-articles-diy-29/flux-air-conditioning-part-1-a-46162/
