(AC) I need help!
I thought my issue was a recharge for the ac but it is not. Bought the refill and it’s in operating range right below where it would drop into needing a charge. But I can not turn my ac on. The button blinks 3 times then shuts off. Hotter then hell out side and would really like to get some ac going. Sometimes the ac button will turn on out of know where. For one trip gets kinda cold then shuts off.
I was was messing with the fuse for it and dropped it down in the engine by I have shaky hands because of a med I’m on. So the horn fuse looked to be the same but even swapping that I can’t turn the ac on. And I tried jumping the fuse and nothing happens.
Please help I can’t seem to find anything exactly like my issue on here or google. It’s either recharge or jumping ac fuse but that doesn’t help me.
Thanks

Check out the A/C clutch cycling switch switch that is located on the accumulator. This can be replaced without venting the system. If the AC suddenly stopped working, this has often been the culprit. The switch needs to close to allow current to flow to a relay that engages the clutch.
