Compressor working?, check freon level w/gauges? I would check the freon cause it is obvious if the compresosr is working or not.

Compressor is working, and it can cool the cabin, but when it is cold in the morning, i cant get any heat, if i set the first dial on auto or any manuel speed, and the next on the red for hot, no hot air come out, in any of the settings on last dial

If you are not getting any heat, your heater core could be plugged. Check both hoses to the heater core. If one is hot and the other not so hot (with engine up to operating temperature, the core is probably plugged and you'll need to backflush it. If you end up backflushing the core, you might as well backflush the whole engine and replace your fluids with fresh stuff.

Could possibly be linked to the HVAC controls. I used to have problems with mine in the winter when i sat at lights for long periods of time due to a vacuum leak under the hood. Since the controls are vacuum driven a leak can mess with it.

Again as mentioned above it could be the heater core but i would check vacuum first as heater corescan bea bear to change.
