Looking to change my stock filter on my new purchase, a 2004, zr2 blazer. I know that kn is good, but not liked by s10 blazers and lot of your members, so what are some other good products ones out there??

keep it stock or go for a Cold air kit WITH heat shield but don't expect any real gains beside intake noise

I run K&N, I have so since 06 on my 97 bravada. Now i use the same filter in my 98 jimmy since the bravada was 6.0l swapped, I just like the fact i can wash it and go instead of buying a new one. The cold air intake would work also, But thats not my style looks a little 2 TUNER for me

Yeah, I ran a k&n in my 02, with no real issues and liked it, but heard it can cause issues with you mass air flow sensor, so I was thinking of trying something different with just a drop in filter change.

I ran a True/Flow filter on a mostly stock intake setup (airbox was de-finned and smoothed, and the nose was cut out) and all in all in performed well. I just switched to a 3.5" CAI and there isnt much noise, which is good, but with the exhaust there is def. more "pep"
