So for the past month or two my alarm will randomly trigger itself on my 2001 Jimmy, when it happens the keys are always hanging up and the car never damaged.Also about two months or so before this started happening the clips holding my door panel on came unattached so we just put a couple screw in it to hold it. Do you guys think its possible that in becoming detached there could be something that would in turn cause the alarm to think the door is opened, because there has also been a couple times where the dome lights have came on while driving and the last time i just kind of tugged on the door and then they went off. Sorry for the long post but I was trying to be as detailed as possible.
