Alternator Going bad?

Alternator Going bad?
Heres my problem, I noticed my voltometer indicates my voltage is dropping from 14 to 12 volts. It only does this under certain conditions, high load mainly, when letting off the gas, etc. Do you guys think its my alternator going bad?

RE: Alternator Going bad?
I had a very similar thing happen in my old 2k Bravada. It ended up being corroded grounds from the battery negative to the block & frame that were causing the lights to dim, etc. I would recommend you check your grounds. Or you could simply run new grounds from the battery to the frame, body, and engine block.

RE: Alternator Going bad?
Thats what I was thinking originally, I checked my cables, and it didn't look bad or anything. A few people mentioned ground as well. I had it totally die on me after filling the gas tank. Started, then total shut off, like someone unplugged the battery. Checked battery cables, and it was fine, but I felt that it was lacking power, like something was holding it back. Think the ground from Battery to Frame would be the first place to start? Also is it easy to replace? Or should I take it to a mechanic?

RE: Alternator Going bad?
Heres a followup. I took it to my uncle which pulled some Blazer parts for me awhile back, swapped out alternators, and the problem went right away.
