Default Alternator trouble

I have a 1998 Blazer LS 4wd. I just need to know what kind of alternator came stock on this blazer? Is a a Delco-Remy? My bearing froze up on me today and trashed the belt and tensioner pulley. Also, does anybody know where I could get a quality rebuild kit??

Thanks,
Zach

Hey! Of course it is a Delco... EVERY parts store stocks these units ranging in quality from junk to brand new! My recommendation-spend the $125 on a new one from napa!
No more worries-and it will LAST!!!

I also found out that the alternator is a Delco-Remy CS130D. Not to be confused with a CS130. Totally different... Anyways thanks for the input

It's funny you mention NAPA..... cuz I work there lol. And I actually prefer a reman unit over new, but I found a shop that could sell me a rebuild kit. The guy said it's next to impossible to install the new rear bearing without a press and a special tool. New bearing will cost me about $30 and a "repair" which includes replacing the voltage regulator, brushes and any other disfunctional part will cost around $55. A total rebuild including sandblasting the case and replacement of bridge rectifier, diode trio, brush assembly, voltage regulator, bearings, etc. is $90. I'm having trouble deciding whether I should have him do the "repair" for $55 or abuse my sweet discount and get a new alternator for $83..... decisions decisions...lol
