Default another misfire problem

Does this sound like an injector issue to you?
only one code--random misfire

I had a slight misfire so i checked things out and found a cooked/cracked plug wire in one spot, so i changed wires and plugs,, figure im set. turn the key and shes popping off like mad, very random too. rough idle, blubbery acceleration, no power...
it seems like it went south just like a light bulb, from a little rough at idle to, dont wanna go..l

i tested fuel pressure, while priming it hit 62lbs off it reads 55lb and held that psi for a hour. the fuel pump is only a couple months old as well.
wouldnt an injector bleed down if it was bad?

Let me add that i have since put new plugs in, tested the wires buy changing them one at a time, new cap and rotor, tested fuel prsr as i said, power and ground to TPS r good, cleaned mass air sen, tested dist. pick up, AND put a new injector assembly today.
No change.

as soon as you start it, pop fff pop,pop phha pop...and avery rough idle to the point it wants to stall.
What did i do wrong here?

Did you install AC Delco plugs, cap & rotor?

Check the plug wire installation, pay close attention to the driver side connections at the cap:

Are you sure you routed the injectors correctly? Two of them cross each other on the driver side. The cylinder numbers are stamped on the side of the injector housing. You can see them in the image below for the passenger , (right) side:

the trouble started when i changed the plugs and wires. im going to try putting the old wires back on tomorrow im so frustrated.
Firing order is correct, no they arent AC delco plugs, they are autolite plugs just like the ones that were in it for the past 80k miles that ran great. yes the injectors were installed correctly, and didnt change a thing.

well not true, my wallet is 350 dollars lighter for nuttin...
fuel pressure held at 54-55lbs with the key off

man that sounds like bs for sure. can you start the truck and some how let it idle? pull one plug wire at a time at cap. if you pull it and the rpm's don't drop you found out what cylinder. I dunno worth a try.

with engine not running, preferably cold, fuel pressure should be 62 ish to start. then without power 10 mins later it should be at 55 ish. That's all I know.

when you pull the spark plug wire you should see and hear a nice healthy spark for sure.

gosh I'd almost unplug battery over night and hook it back up(not that it'll do anything)

man I wonder what the heck it is.

have you checked the gear on the distrubitor? its rare but does happen, or the cap and buttion? changing the plug wires might have moved them around enuff to cause this
but dont just throw parfts at something till you see some sort of damage or signs of issue, replacing the spider injectors was a waste of time and money! check the cap and rotor for arcing or corrosion the terminals should be nice and clean no wire/green or black powder on them!

Not necessarily, i was experiencing a pretty good miss under a load at times.
i pull a 16.5' boat quite a bit and its much stronger and smoother now.
it still has a rough idle at times though.

Not to argue but why would it be so critical to use AC delco parts?
i dont see a great deal of difference from after market any more. it all cheap junk made to break in short order...

It makes no difference what brand you use. Everyone on here says it does. I dont use delco anything & never have had a problem. Autolite wires, ngk plugs, accel coil, airtex fuel pumps. I would recommend changing the complete distributor, the gear can wear & cause problems. Their is a guy named skip white on ebay that sells complete distributor with brass terminals & 5yr warranty for under $55 shipped, & it's better made than stock. Good Luck
