Anti-freeze leak 95 S10 Blazer
This is a 4.3 Vortec, 4WD, LT w/118,000 miles.
I have replaced the water pump and passenger side, front freeze plug and was convinced the problem would be solved. I replaced the coolent, idled the engine for approx 30 mins with no problem. I drove approx two miles and it overheated. There is no evidence of leaking in repaired areas and I can now see coolent coming from what appears to be a round hole in possibly the transmission. This is directly behind the oil pan. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the hole I described make any sense? I doubt it's the tranny per se but it's in that area. I can cover this hole with finger and when finger removed, coolent definately coming from hole. The hole is approx 1/4" diameter. If it's leaking from the rear frost plugs, would this hole be the exit route?
I appreciate your thoughts.

I removed the dust cover and exposed the flexplate and torque converter. The coolant is definately coming from this area but there is no way that I can tell, to see the frost plugs. I hate to ask but what else would need removed to view them and what is required to replace them if that turns out to be the problem? Does the tranny need removed? Motor?
Thanks.
Thanks.
