Axle nut torque
I checked again and Haynes Manual states Ft-lbs. I'm not saying they are right, just what is in their manual. I am in the middle of a hub & bearing assy job so I appreciate the correct values. Thanks y'all.
That's messed up right there. I just got done looking it up for another member and I checked from 95 through 2002, all years and they all came back with the numbers I posted above. Sounds like Haynes has their units messed up.
depending on your bearing the torque spes may vary. you should always use the manufac torque specs. there have been alot of stories of people blowing out bearings after just a few months of driveing and torque is the most common falt.
