Default Bad Evap canister makes for slow gas pumping

2002 rwd 4.3 4dr Changed my filler neck and ever since it takes FOREVER to fill er up. Could I have nicked debris into the Evap canister? And if so can I clean it out with an air gun?

Was your replacement part new or used? I somehow doubt the evap canister is causing the issue. Remove the rear driver's wheel and look behind the rubber mud guard and inspect the filler neck hose for kinks. Or it could possibly be that the check ball inside the filler neck is getting stuck somehow.
