I noticed my evap. canister is secured with pipe strapping. Is this how GM did it ? It does not look right. Also, has anybody thrown a code using a locking gas cap ? 99 4.3 BLAZER (canister is behind left rear tire and is not mounted firmly) Thanks

 

nope they used like a metal bracket thing. but thats what i use to repair them at work when they fall down
