The nipple on the fuel pump module is straight. Not much for the rubber line to "grip" onto. It would be best to use one of these: Dorman Products - 800-082 then connect the "fuel injection rated" rubber line to it using the fuel injection line clamps. Attach the other end to one of these on the fuel filter: Dorman Products - 800-170

Couple questions:
1. How the heck did ya drop the tank? I removed all the screws that hold in the tank cover (skidplate) but can't get it out. It's lose and just hanging there but can't squeeze it passed the leaf springs and rear diff.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem removing that tank shield. It looks like you could wiggle the thing out once you get it all unbolted, but the flanges on either side won't clear the leaf springs. There's just not enough room, no matter which way you move it. I don't think I could get it out even if I had the vehicle on a lift. ???
