RE: battery
I prefer AC Delco Batteries, Interestate Battieries are good as well (expensive). Some prefer Gel Cell batteries (expensive). Buy a cheapy at a Parts store and your probably going to get a couple years out of it if you are lucky (cheap).

RE: battery
We have always run Deka batteries on the farm and they get used and abused like no other. All of our tractors, tractor trailers, dump trucks, and any other vehicles have Deka batteries.
To be honest with you, so long as you get a decent name brand battery, you should be fine. Also, you will probably want to look at ones with the highest CCA (cold cranking amps) if you life in a colder climate. I'm running an 850CCA (1000CA) Deka in my Bravada.

RE: battery
How long does a stock battery last on average? Are there any conditions that can make it wear/last quicker/longer? Thanks
