Battery/Alternator Question

Battery/Alternator Question
My Blazer has a newer rebuilt alternator in it and is getting close to needing a new battery. What I would like to know, is if it would be possible to get a more powerful battery (maybe an Optima deep cycle one?) and have it fit well. The reason I want a more powerful battery, or maybe a different alternator (whichever, opinions would be great) is that whenever I put my Blazer in 4 Hi or the ABS kicks in, the headlights dim very noticeably. With the ABS, they pulse in rhythm to the brakes. I was told a better battery with a bigger reserve would cure this, and it makes sense. I just don't know how big it would have to be or if it would fit,
Thanks for any help!
Oh, it's a 1999 LT 4x4 and this is the 5th or 6th year on this battery I think

yeah, if your batter is 5-6 years old it probably need replacing.
but is your current battery the correct size or bigger that what it needs?
