I recently ran across a BCM from a 99 S-10 That was programmed with a few options that I added to my 99. I plugged the BCM in all the options worked but the passlock wouldn't allow my truck to start up. I'm wondering if the 30 min relearn will reprogram the passlock to allow a start up? I'm going to try it this evening when I get home from work. I have tried a few dealership in my area and I keep getting told the BCM cannot be reprogrammed. I've heard by others it can be. Will doing the relearn work?
