I have an 02 and if you unscrew the center councel tray (should be 2 screws where the handel to the lid is at) there is a place there but it does it really hot in that area.

 

Get a smaller gun. I have a few 1911 .45's, a full size 9mm and none of them would fit anywhere in my 95 4 door. Too big for the glove box, center console, and wouldn't even fit under the seat. I ended up buying a Ruger LCP- you can put it anywhere. If you have to leave it in the vehicle for any reason it will fit in any of the above locations.

 

be very aware of gun laws in your state . i know here in missouri 21 is the law . you dont want to pick up a felony and loose your right to own and carry a weapon .
