blazer fuel guage not working

Me and my dad just replaced the fuel pump in my 01 blazer now the fuel guage isn't working what could cause this?

Is it reading full or empty? It could be a loose ground wire.

Full and I think its the float because we just replaced the fuel pump

It was working before we replaced fuel pump
