I have a '99 Blazer, uk import. I have always had trouble with starting. It would seem as if the immobiliser is kicking in for no apparent reason. She is a great starter (normally). When she wont start, all lights on the dash illuminate, but there is no turn over of the engine and certainly no firing. This is definitely an intermittent fault. If i close the door, relock and unlock her, she will start most times, also if i leave her for say 2hours she will start. Its as if she is timing out? Any ideas?

 

I'm assuming it has something to do with the security system but I don't know much about them.
