Default Blazer ran hot, now won't start

So I'm driving down the road and check engine light comes on and the temp guage was pegged. Went about a half mile and it cut off. Now I can't get it to start. It was low on fluid thats why it ran hot. Hooked the computer up to it and it said the coolant temp sensor was bad. The motor turns over and somewhat fires kind of like it's out of time. So far this is what Ive checked/replaced:

New wires and plugs
Tested the ignition module its good.
I have spark at the plugs
When I put it TDC it everything lines up.
I have sufficient fuel pressure (62 psi)
Checked the compression on every cylinder and everythings good.
Pulled the plug on the pan and my oil looks brand new.

So basically I have gas, spark and compression and I've checked everything I know. Could the computer have reset itself or something?

ANY suggestions would be awesome..thanks

What was/were the specific code(s)?

Did you replace the ECT sensor?
